Organization Objectives
With a focus on youth, LICODEP
promotes community development in the areas of education, health, peace and
security. It seeks to sensitize youth to relevant issues and empower them to advocate
for change. It aims to:
- Aid in the social, economic and political development
of youth in Likoni
- Improve infrastructure for schools and promote the
importance of education
- Facilitate access to counseling on issues of HIV/AIDS
and drug abuse for community members in need
- Sensitize the community to the importance of good
health
- Foster peace and security through a community watch
program

Organization Objectives
House of Courage (HOC) is a
dynamic group of devoted young community members that strive to eradicate
HIV/AIDS and address other pressing issues by creating new and entertaining
methods of education. Its goals are to:
- Educate and sensitize the community on HIV/AIDS and
reproductive health through participatory educational theater
- Conduct Peer Education sessions to educate youth in
the community on reproductive health issues
- Act as a resource for all community members on issues
of reproductive health, positive relationships, and life skills
