Divine Providence Children’s Home cares for abandoned children and those who are in perilous circumstances. The home is run by the Benedictine Sisters of Divine Providence.

Organization Overview

The Children’s Home was founded in 1998 and is currently supporting roughly 99 children, ranging in age from one day old to late teens. The compound is self-contained: including medical facilities, a small garden, living quarters for the children and staff, and a primary school, serving children from nursery school to grade eight.

Divine Providence Children’s Home provides youth with programs including a education, afterschool tutoring, IT training, counseling, nutritional and medical services, and agricultural income-generating activities for food security and skills training.
