Bay Area Opportunities

If you want to be involved in international development but can't go abroad, there are plenty of local opportunities. We have monthly educational panels, SF office volunteer opportunities, board member positions, fundraising events, and other activities. We also co-host numerous events each year. We encourage your participation in all of these activities.

Beyond events, there are many ways to get involved with FSD here in the Bay Area:

Co-sponsor an event to raise money for FSD! We invite you to co-sponsor an event to help raise awareness and support for FSD's grant programs. Share your support for FSD and introduce your friends and family to our work by hosting a cocktail party, dinner or any other social event, either at your home or another venue of your choice. FSD will provide materials. We hope to broaden the network of our supporters by relying on you to extend your commitment to sustainable development to your friends and acquaintances.
