You've got the Ultimate Resume Building Guide from FSD on how to incorporate your experience into your resume (and if you don't you can download it here), but it's time to actually create that biographical piece of paper that is supposed to seperate you from every other applicant out there... sound daunting?
Well, once you read through the guide, here are some helpful sites to ensure that your resume actually does shine out from the others (and not just cause you used glossy paper):
- About.com - Writting a CV: this site has some great information on putting together a CV for both national and international use.
- Monster Career Advice: a great site for general, up to date, and useful career and resume advice.
- College Grad Resume Database: this site has a database full of resumes for your perusal based both on style, degree, and job specifc.
- Grove Job: a great site for everything from building a resume, a cover letter, and even internview techniques.
- What Resume Format is Best for You: this is a great article for those creating their first resume or their thirtieth.
- Wiki-How - Cover Letters: the wonderful people at Wikipedia have a how to site that guides you through the cover letter writing process (yipee!)
- How To Write a Cover Letter: no explanation needed here, neat site with some great hints.
- Your University Career Center: not only will they review your resume and cover letter for you, these people are here to help you find a job too!
