Project Updates from 2011: From Maternal Health to Energy Security
To address the challenge of a lack of fuel for cooking in rural settings, Aoife, an environmental engineer and a long serving intern, introduced the ‘fireless cookers’ technology to the grandmothers of the Phoebe Education Fund for Aids Orphans (PEFO) to use in their homes and as a business.
