- Group of UNC Students Put Together Public Health Campaign in Masaya

This summer four students from UNC Chapel Hill worked together at Centro de Salud Monimbo to put together an excellent Diabetes Prevention Campaign. In eight weeks the group managed to diagnose and educate hundreds of residents of Masaya and the surrounding areas in what is the third highest cause of death in Nicaragua, diabetes. Read more here.
