The Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD) initiated the Ambassador Program in 2013 as a response to many inquiries from alumni and working professionals in the Bay Area to offer pro-bono service to support FSD’s mission and vision for international development. Our San Francisco office has worked with these professionals to increase our organizational capacity and the value we provide our beneficiaries in the international communities we serve.
The Ambassador Program provides an opportunity for FSD’s more than 3,000 volunteer alumni to assist in extending our mission and stay connected to their field experience through working with like-minded individuals. We invite FSD alumni and vision-aligned individuals to participate in the program, lending their expertise, connections, time, and passion for the sector in a collective effort to help FSD achieve its vision of a world where all people have the opportunity and capacity to direct economic, social, and environmental resources toward sustainable outcomes that improve lives and communities.
FSD Ambassadors are currently working on four focused subcommittees:
- Measuring Impact in the Field
- Bolstering Corporate Engagement Program
- Increasing Constituent Engagement
- Fundraising via our Fall Event
A big thank you to all our current Ambassadors who continue to assist us in reaching our goals! You can read their bios on our Meet the Staff page.
